ABSTRACT
In this paper, on the example of a certain specific measuring lattice guyed mast with a height of 160 m, a comparison of the methods of conducting static analysis of guyed mast structures under wind load according to the guidelines of the European EN 1993-3-1 standard and the American TIA-222-H standard was made. Attention was primarily paid to the differences in the manner of determining wind load calculation models and creating design combinations in both standards. Static computations of the mast using the professional software RFEM were performed. The conclusions of the comparative analysis while taking into account the guidelines of both standards, may be useful in the design practice of such types of structures.
