ABSTRACT
This paper proposes calculating the load-bearing capacity of ventilation ducts made from PIR-core sandwich panels with a height of more than 10 m without an additional support structure. The authors presented the problem of designing and con-structing such structures in industrial halls above 25 hectares based on their experience. The need for such solutions arises directly from the large ventilation needs in such facilities, and the use of widely available sandwich panels brings economic benefits and allows the use of additional support structures for this type of gravitational ventilation to be eliminated.
