ABSTRACT

This study aims to analyze the use of accounting for household financial reporting by looking at planning, recording, decision making, and long-term financial planning. The object of this research is accounting lecturers at Islamic universities in Malang City. The sample used is to ask for approval from the university and was chosen intentionally by that party. Data analysis techniques in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions from the results of interviews. The results of this study are the use of planning is used by looking at the history of the past month, the use of recording is not used in household finances, decision making is carried out by deliberation, the use of long-term financial planning is carried out after setting aside the use of priorities and short-term finance.
