ABSTRACT
The proposed system provides a comprehensive overview of various technological models, such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and blockchain, to enhance waste management. The models cover predictive analytics based on sensor data for waste creation, overflows, temperature rise, humidity monitoring, and gas leak detection. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models are used in waste classification to separate recyclables from non-recyclables and to classify bags as paper, plastic, or garbage bags. A hybrid Natural Language Processing (NLP)/Support Vector Machine (SVM) model is created to address common waste management questions. Next.js handles the frontend while Flask handles the backend infrastructure to create voice navigation and narration functionalities. Blockchain technology allows for the tracking of every stage in the disposal of waste, protecting data integrity and thwarting theft. Additionally, real-time monitoring and data collecting are made possible by IoT devices, which enhance the efficacy and efficiency of waste management procedures and enable remote system control and operation. The theoretical foundation of the models created and how they are applied to various waste management issues are presented in the abstract. Blockchain and Internet of Things technologies are used to support these applications and boost efficiency, transparency, and security.
