ABSTRACT
The presence of sensitive neighbors and geotechnical uncertainties in underground projects, led us to use risk management for the realization of the project of lot 1 of Line 16 of the Grand Paris Express.
This article presents a real example of the management of the technical risks of this project: from their assessment in the design phase, then their evolution during the detailed studies and until the completion of the works.
We describe the evolution of risk management based on specific examples, and we show how preventive and curative measures could be adapted during the progress of the project.
