ABSTRACT

This research introduces a new urban travel model that combines VANET and MANET technologies to enhance road safety, traffic flow optimization, and provide various applications for passengers and drivers. The focus is on dynamic topology management technology, where VANET systems with strategic sensors provide vehicle information to operators and MANET technology offers users relevant data to avoid accidents and congestion. A real test scenario involving 30 vehicles demonstrated a significant increase in traffic efficiency and road safety scores. The technology has the potential to enhance vehicle dynamics and road safety in urban transportation systems, making way for intelligent and responsive transportation in large cities.
