ABSTRACT

This study proposes the design and computes of a micro sized strip patch antenna optimized for X-spectrum applications. Utilizing a square patch integrated with metamaterial, the antenna is manufactured by Arlon type AD 1000™ substrates level. The compact design features a high gain and is tailored for high-frequency operations. The ground layer incorporates a micro sized strip structure, while the higher-level radiation layer consists of a squared sized patch complemented by three pi (π) shaped reflecting elements. The dimensions by radiating object are 4.7 mm x 4.6 mm, and the reflecting elements measure 7 mm x 0.5 mm, 0.5 mm x 6.3 mm, and 0.5 mm x 6.3 mm. The antenna achieves precise narrowband performance, with measured results indicating a return loss of -15 decibel on 15.5 GHz and -23 dB at 19.1 GHz. Additionally, have a gain 2 dB and a directivity of 3 dB Designed for 5G applications, including live broadcasting and naval satellite downlink, this antenna demonstrates significant potential in modern communication systems.
