ABSTRACT
Digital image watermarking embeds known data into an image. Several methods have been developed to watermark a cover image. Digital photo watermarking secures ownership, copyright, and authenticity. DWT-FWHT transformation is employed to create a reliable photo watermarking and extraction algorithm in this research. The watermarking approach calculates peak-signal-to-noise signal ratio (PSNR) values on the selected images and compares the extracted watermark to the original watermark for discrete transformation sub-bands. Discrete wavelet transformation is more frequent in photo watermarking algorithms than others. Compared to other watermarking algorithms, discrete wavelet transformation approaches are more common. This is due to wavelets’ high spatial localization, frequency spread, and multi-resolution, which are similar to theoretical models of the human visual system. Digital watermarking embeds a copyright mark into digital work to identify the author and owner. It's often used to find copyright breaches.
