ABSTRACT
Hybrid energy systems (HES) are a cornerstone of sustainable energy infrastructure, combining multiple renewable sources to address challenges related to energy reliability, sustainability, and efficiency. This chapter thoroughly explores the design, implementation, and energy management techniques of hybrid system architectures. Practical applications are illustrated through case studies of real-world scenarios that demonstrate how these systems address the needs of various industries, including industrial operations, residential energy needs, and agriculture. The chapter thus highlights the immense potential of hybrid energy systems and their contribution to achieving global renewable energy objectives.
