ABSTRACT
This study investigates the awareness, usage and effectiveness of epoxy resin for concrete repairs with the view to enhance concrete outcome in projects. Purposive sampling technique was used to select the sample of 340 professionals, while questionnaire were administered to them. A total of 100 properly filled and returned questionnaires were used for the analysis. Data were analysed with the aid of frequency, mean and standard deviation. The study sheds light that majority of respondents are extremely aware of and always use epoxy resin for concrete repair. The study concludes that the awareness of epoxy resin for concrete repair varies among professionals, but larger percentage of them are fully aware of it. There should be collaboration among regulatory bodies and stakeholders on the application of epoxy for concrete repairs. The study holds immense significance in sustainable repair of concretes’ cracks.
