ABSTRACT
This study examines the evolving landscape of poverty alleviation research in Indonesia using Scopus metadata, comprising 351 entries. A bibliometric analysis conducted via Biblioshiny reveals an 8.83% annual growth rate in poverty research from 1991 to 2023, with a sharp increase from 2015 onward, peaking at 45 publications in 2023. The thematic map identifies eight key clusters: welfare and economic growth intersect as core themes alongside microfinance; impact evaluation and microfinance emerge as driving themes; social protection and livelihoods are categorized as niche themes; while education and social forestry appear in the declining or emerging themes quadrant. Each cluster is labeled with representative research areas, offering a structured overview of Indonesia's poverty research landscape. This study contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 1 (No Poverty) by identifying research gaps and providing evidence-based insights for policymakers, academics, and practitioners to develop targeted, sustainable poverty reduction strategies within Indonesia's policy framework.
