ABSTRACT
The Desa Tani productive zakat programme by Dompet Dhuafa aims to stimulate agricultural development and enhance the economic independence of mustahik. Farming cooperatives are crucial in redistributing economic assets, enabling marginalised communities to achieve self-sufficiency. This study evaluates the effectiveness of agronative farming cooperatives in empowering mustahik within Dompet Dhuafa Farming Villages. Using purposive sampling, data were collected through in-depth interviews with 10 respondents. A mixed-method approach was employed, integrating Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) for quantitative assessment and SWOT Analysis for qualitative evaluation. The findings indicate that agronative farming cooperatives effectively contribute to mustahik empowerment by improving economic resilience and sustainability. This research highlights the strategic role of cooperatives in optimising productive zakat, reinforcing their impact on poverty alleviation and economic equity.
