ABSTRACT

Objective: This study aims to compare bone regeneration outcomes between autografts and non-autografts in dental implants through a scoping review approach. Method: Literature review was conducted using the Population, Concept, Context (PCC) framework, focusing on human subjects undergoing dental implant and bone graft procedures, and observe the radiographic bone regeneration. A PRISMA-guided search was performed on PubMed and Wiley databases. Results: 464 articles were found, which 9 articles met the criteria Of these articles, 7 articles showed no significant difference in bone changes. Conclusion: Autograft and non-autograft bone graft tends to show insignificant difference on dimensional changes of the bone upon radiographical examination.
