ABSTRACT
Objectives: to analyze effect of lime leaves on color changes and hardness of nanohybrid composite resin. Methods: Laboratory experimental with post-test control group design. A total of 30 nanohybrid composite resin Filtek Z250XT shade A3 were shaped cylindrical with size 10 mm diameter and 2 mm height using a stainless steel mold which was divided into 3 groups. Treatment group was immersed in lime leaves for 30 minutes. Control group were immersed in artificial saliva for 24 hours. The color change was measured using VITA Easyshade V and hardness using Vickers Microhardness. Results: Mann Whitney test of color changes ΔE and ΔL p= 0.000, ΔH p= 0.003, hardness p=0.004 and control p=0.002. Post Hoc Tukey have significant differences of changes color ΔC p=0.002 compare to control group. Conclusion: The color change and hardness of the nanohybrid resin composite decreases after immersion in lime leaves for 12 and 15 days.
