ABSTRACT
Objectives: to explore the relationship between prosocial motivation and intrinsic motivation on affective commitment among 294 healthcare professionals (HPs) in dental teaching hospital in Java, Indonesia. Methods: Cross-sectional research was applied with purposive non-probability sampling using a quantitative adapted questionnaires with total of 17 indicators. The respondents included dentist, doctor, nurse, dental terapist, medical officer, pharmacist, medical equipment technician, and laboratory technician. Statistical data processing using Partial Least Square (PLS) 3.2.9 program's statistical computation capabilities were utilized to evaluate the hypothesis. Results: The findings indicated that both hypotheses, has positively effect on affective commitment with all result p-value < 0.05. Conclusion: The intrinsic motivation has positive impact on affective commitment. The prosocial motivation has positive lower impact on affective commitment.
