ABSTRACT

Mobile phones are no longer only used for communication in the twenty-first century; people are encouraged to choose mobile phones for personal computing because they are compact, lightweight, and cost-effective compared to traditional computers. In this manuscript, we have developed a mobile application for a secret sharing scheme (SSS) which needs a computation device for decryption at the receiver. We have implemented an executable Android application for a two-tier SSS with meaningful shares for grayscale as well as color images. [1] The proposed scheme primarily aimed at handheld devices as its application scenario. The usability is assessed, and the underlying security model is examined to ensure optimal accuracy and performance.
