ABSTRACT

By employing freely available technological means, digital pictures can easily be copied and distributed without any definite conditions. In order to maintain copyrights, watermarking processes are employed that embed the information into images sequentially. These methods have thus far been supplanted with elementary Attacks such as rotation, translation, scaling, etc. In this research work, a contemporary digital image is transformed by applying Discrete wavelet transform (DWT) and Stationary Wavelet Transform (SWT) is applied, which is applied for improved compression energy and proper reconstruction of the digital images. In both these transformation methods, altogether they possess four sub-bands, in this work we consider only High-High sub-band images for compression. And also, enhanced image encryption process of input digital images is performed by employing the Chaos and Arnold technique. During this research, simulation of watermarking of an image is done using MATLAB 2018(B) and tested with the assistance of eight various standard images to achieve the improved grades. This watermarking technique proves to be most beneficial for image security. The robustness of a watermarking algorithm is measured by utilizing two parameters as peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and normalized correlation (NC). In our proposed method attained the higher PSNR and NC rate as better than 39.2915 dB and 0.9943 under various non-geometric attacks like salt and pepper noise and Gaussian noise.
