ABSTRACT

Stunting remains a significant public health issue in Indonesia, with a national prevalence rate of 21.6%. Bekasi City has shown progress, reducing its stunting prevalence to 2.99%, below the Ministry of Health's standard. However, this figure still falls short of the zero stunting target set for 2024 by the Bekasi City Government and the Bekasi City Health Office. This study aims to examine the relationship between maternal attitudes and husband support in stunting prevention behaviours in the Sumur Batu Area, Bantar Gebang District, Bekasi City. This quantitative research utilised a cross-sectional study design with a sample of 123 mothers of toddlers, selected through simple random sampling. The findings reveal that 50.4% of mothers actively engage in stunting prevention. There is a significant relationship between maternal ABCDE attitudes (p = 0.002) and husband support (p = 0.005) with stunting prevention behaviours. To achieve the zero-stunting target, developing and expanding educational media (IEC) at integrated service posts and increasing the frequency of health promotion activities is essential.
