ABSTRACT
This study aims to develop a digital enrichment book focusing on food and drug contamination within the context of environmental chemistry. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) approach using the Four Steps Teaching Material Development (4-STMD) method, which includes the selection, structuring, characterisation, and reduction stages. The instruments used in this study included an Islamic Chemistry integration validation sheet, a gap test instrument, and a feasibility test validation sheet. At the selection stage, the primary textbook source was identified as Poison and Poisoning. Validation of Islamic integrated chemistry material by religious expert validators resulted in a score of 95%, indicating a very strong category. In the characterisation stage, the main idea writing test achieved a score of 91.06%, signifying clear concepts and a high level of comprehension. The feasibility test conducted by media experts yielded a score of 79.51%, categorising the book as good and suitable for use as a learning resource. This digital enrichment book supports Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) by promoting accessible and reliable educational materials.
