ABSTRACT
This study examines how spouse social support and role conflict influence marital satisfaction, emphasizing the importance of creating a supportive environment where both part-ners can thrive personally and professionally. Such an approach aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3 and 5, which aim to improve health outcomes and reduce gender inequalities in health access. A cross-sectional quantitative method was employed, using a questionnaire based on the Likert scale and analysed through multiple regression analysis. The findings reveal that role conflict and spouse social support significantly and simultaneously impact marital satisfaction. Spouse social support plays a crucial role in mitigating the negative effects of role conflict, thereby contributing to higher marital satisfaction. The study highlights the importance of fostering mutual support between spouses to balance personal and professional responsibilities effectively. Future research is recommended to explore the relationship between role conflict, spouse social support, and gratitude across diverse demographic and cultural contexts, offering a broader understanding of marital dynamics and their contribution to family well-being.
