ABSTRACT
Sustainable entrepreneurship is gaining importance each day, as the world faces challenges such as global inequality, desertification, and climate change. The term ‘Sustainability’ is now mentioned in every discourse, from academic to corporate. The aim of this is to contribute to entrepreneurship literature by highlighting the vital role of higher education students. Our findings provide empirical evidence that cognitive factors like self-efficacy and passion significantly influence the sustainable entrepreneurial intention among students. Additionally, creativity and attitudes towards sustainability have a direct, meaningful impact on forming Sustainable Entrepreneurial Intent (SEI). The study further concludes that research on developing positive attitudes toward sustainability and raising awareness about it is essential in academic discussions and curricula. Such efforts are necessary to sensitize higher education students to their role in fostering better and sustainable business solutions.
