ABSTRACT
Our Constitution has three important parts – Preamble, Fundamental Rights and Directive Principles of State Policy, which unequivocally cast obligations upon the states to, inter-alia, secure “Justice” for all our citizens. More particularly, one of the major Preambular Goals of our Constitution is to secure social, economic and political Justice to every citizen of India. However, “Justice Delayed is Justice Denied”. The inordinate delay and long pendency of the court cases are becoming the biggest injustice and are flagrantly deterring “We, the People of India” from achieving our aforesaid paramount Preambular Goal, which is a cause of grave concern. The present paper endeavors to provide certain workable solutions which may be pertinent for achieving Speedy Justice, which in-turn, secures legal reforms and social equity.
