ABSTRACT
This whole world is composed of more than 4000 religions and faith groups and shares the same beliefs and values. But religious “bigotry” is endangering the equality and peace in this whole world and in SAARC countries too. Controversial and fake news on the grounds of religion, community, and caste can be observed time to time on social media and the related websites. A large no. of masses has become social media savvy, becomes the cause of conflicts too. In this respect this study seeks to analyse the perception of masses in SAARC countries towards religious communication practices and how social media has its impression in all these, so that the religious conflict in these countries can be overcome. Mixed method approach with proportionate sample size from SAARC countries as population for the stratified sample survey is applied. Analyses is carried out considering the various objectives related to religious conflicts, social media impact and ways to bring peace in all nations. This study concludes that the causes of conflicts are interference of politics, communal and religious groups and somewhere social media also play main role. Internally all religions say they are equal peace can be brought up by knowing oneself.
