ABSTRACT

The research investigates the impact of digital media on developing collaborative learning among secondary school students who live in the Noida region. The increasing presence of technology in educational systems requires understanding how digital tools affect student interactions and knowledge construction processes. The main goal of this research investigates how digital media platforms, including educational apps and discussion forums and collaborative content creation tools, affect peer-to-peer engagement and shared learning outcomes. The research used a mixed methods design, which combined 300 student surveys from ten schools with focus group discussions and classroom observations. The research shows that students who use digital platforms show better participation levels and enhanced problem-solving skills, and better conceptual understanding because of peer collaboration. The research demonstrates that digital media supports inclusive learning through its ability to accommodate different communication approaches and immediate feedback mechanisms. The research findings support educators and policymakers in strategically implementing collaborative digital tools in curricula for creating active learning environments. The research provides new insights about digital media implementation in Indian secondary education while offering specific findings that apply to educational strategy development in comparable urban areas.
