ABSTRACT
This bibliometric analysis aims to determine how technology, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), affects the digital economy through an extensive academic literature review. The study methodically reviews a wide range of research to understand how technology affects digital economic growth, productivity, innovation, and other important digital economic indicators. The study identifies trends, significant writers, and top journals to illustrate the changing relationship between technology and the digital economy. It might also reveal a research void concerning the deployment of AI in emerging digital economies. The bibliometric study will identify the precise gaps.
The primary objective is to use bibliometric tools, such as VOSviewer and Excel, to analyse publication data from Scopus, covering the period from 2015 to 2025. The study focuses on terms like “artificial intelligence,” “technologies,” and “digital economy” within the domains of business management, accounting, and computer science. The paper aims to assess co-citation patterns, keyword co-occurrence, and geographical trends in AI and digital economics. The results of this study will offer meaningful insights for academics and industry practitioners, supporting the formulation of contemporary business strategies and guiding future investigations into the role of AI in advancing the digital economy.
