ABSTRACT
Divergent thinking involves considering multiple solutions to any problem, incorporating elements such as fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Artificial intelligence supports students in developing creative, divergent thinking skills by providing valuable tools that enhance both problem-solving and innovation. This analysis reviews several studies and provides pertinent findings. Using search terms like “AI in achieving Divergent Thinking” and “AI in Education,” various papers were found. The findings suggest that tools such as ChatGPT, Google Bard, and mind-mapping apps effectively aid students in generating diverse ideas.
