ABSTRACT
Artificial intelligence (AI) technologies have advanced at a breakneck pace, catalyzing a profound metamorphosis in human-computer interaction and unveiling uncharted territories of design challenges. Experiential value, the holistic subjective experience derived from human-AI interaction, emerges as a critical consideration. This section elucidates the AI in affective computing, quantification methods grounded in Kansei Engineering, and the emerging trajectory of affective computing with AI integration. By illuminating the evolution of affective computing technologies and affective quantification approaches rooted in Kansei engineering principles and the prospective development of affective computing synergized with AI capabilities, this section provides a comprehensive perspective on the multifaceted landscape of emotion-centric computation and its future implications. Finally, it explores AI applications in interaction design, wherein art mediates human-machine transparency and collaboration. Value exploration emerges as pivotal for realizing human values through engaging, responsive, and efficient AI system designs.
