ABSTRACT
The evolution of Product-Service Systems (PSSs) in the digital era is set to enhance utilization through improved production, distribution, and consumption processes. However, many difficulties hinder their implementation. Companies need to rethink business models and replace value exchange in use in order to foster long-term relationships. This study proposes adopting foresight methods to help support design processes when moving toward digital PSS, which can be conducive to anticipating future trends, challenges, and opportunities for companies, especially small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
