ABSTRACT

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of multi-track diplomacy that has been built by non-state actors, in order to improve non-political cooperation between Indonesian and Palestinian society. Additionally, this research also seeks to answer how cooperation in education can promote and strengthen the issue of Palestinian education. The approach used in this research is multi-track diplomacy that is carried out by non-state actors in a non-formal relationship with the state or its citizens, who are the intended target of the cooperation and diplomacy. This paper reveals that multi-track diplomacy strengthens the diplomatic efforts of non-state actors for colonized Palestine, especially in education. Furthermore, increasing the capacity of education is very important for the sustainable development of Palestine and, even further, for the preparation of its independence.
