ABSTRACT
On February 24, 2022, Vladimir Putin launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, called in his propaganda “special military operation,” having as its aim to eliminate forever the distinct Ukrainian identity and to absorb the territory of Ukraine. Ukraine has resisted in a way that it has surprised all analysts and political observers.
