ABSTRACT
“Her voice has already made a difference on our stage,” says Arena Stage’s Laurence Maslon, speaking of playwright Suzan-Lori Parks. “By the end of the decade, everyone will be doing her.” He adds, “If we can’t hear her, there’s nothing wrong with her voice, just something wrong with our ears.”
