ABSTRACT
A most intriguing issue is why Russia-EU cooperation in the sphere of security has not evolved further, despite expected mutual gains and official declarations in support of closer collaboration. The aim of this chapter is to further explore both driving forces and obstacles to EU-Russia rapprochement in the sphere of security.1
