ABSTRACT
How research is conducted, who is involved, on which terms and, most importantly, who benefits from research results have been at the core of feminist scholarship since its establishment as an academic discipline. Who can be a knower and what can be known frame issues of representation and intersubjectivity at centre stage in feminist epistemological and methodological debates, inspiring and shaping feminist developments in the field of qualitative methodologies.
