ABSTRACT
MLSE LaunchPad is a Sport For Development facility in Toronto, Canada. The organization addresses poverty reduction through a range of tactics, including programming, advocacy, policy influence, youth employment, and related employment practices. Programs designed to address poverty-related outcomes have demonstrated substantial measured impacts, particularly among older youth. A comprehensive, strategic, and practical approach to poverty elimination through Sport For Development requires collaborative partnerships with a range of cross-sectoral actors.
