ABSTRACT

Collaboration and partnership has grown to become an essential paradigm in sustainable development. This chapter presents some of the key local and international collaborations by PRME signatories across Australia and New Zealand towards implementing principles of responsible management education and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). With partnership as our underlying core foundation for action, it offers some practical examples to business schools and universities globally on various ways of practising and integrating sustainability, responsibility and the SDGs in teaching, research and operations. Moreover, the chapter presents results of a poll from Australia and New Zealand PRME signatories on future perspectives, next steps and aspirations for the region. Findings show building communities of practices within Faculty and across universities, mapping SDGs across curriculum and research, and promoting cross-sector collaboration on sustainability and SDGs are among the key aspirations for PRME signatories in the region.
