ABSTRACT
The Italian culture of the project has ancient roots renewed from time to time in the historical courses of modernity. A never-ending process at least until there is functional and spiritual reason but also spatial and material body to the idea of the city. From the experiences of the second half of the 20th century of the Venezia (IUAV) and Milano (Politecnico) academic contexts, the school recently formed in Parma University aims to give continuity to those scientific traditions through a continuous research of re-elaboration in the face of new phenomena and emergencies.
