ABSTRACT

This chapter is focused on the essential conceptual elements regarding the second new managerial mechanism proposed by the authors: the company-relevant stakeholders-based management system. After discussing the company management system concept and its major impact on functionality and performance, the necessity of the stakeholders-based management system in the present context is demonstrated using 10 arguments. The new system is based on a set of eight premises regarding the company management and stakeholders, like the company as an open system, relevant stakeholders as essential for the company, the company as a group of stakeholders and others.

Company-relevant stakeholders-based management is emerging as a new management system which could valorize the potential of relevant stakeholders, using emotional intelligence, with beneficial results for all parties. In fact, this system is a special type of network of internal and external company-relevant stakeholders, within which managerial synapses play a major role. For this new system are presented and analyzed the components, principles, advantages, limits and other essential elements. A special attention is payed to the necessity and specific benefits of the new system in the pandemic and post pandemic context.
