ABSTRACT

This is the first-hand narrative of Dáithi Clayton. Dáithi who is a queer non-binary person tells of their experiences beyond the heteronormative life course, including experiences such as caring during the AIDS pandemic, which informs their life with dementia in the present. Dáithi narrates a lifetime of rebellion and resistance against heteronormativity and how they aim to continue this struggle as they are living and dying with dementia.
