ABSTRACT
This chapter explores domestic violence and abuse in British-Sikh contexts. It centres an anonymised survivor case study of a woman who experienced a range of abuses that were both exacerbated and ameliorated by Sikhi religious actors and factors. The chapter demonstrates the entanglements of religion in all layers of life and situates the case study in the context of emerging academic literature.
