ABSTRACT
This final chapter recognizes the progress made by a range of secular actors to better integrate religious actors as partners in human rights work, but there is still much to be done to ensure that religious actors are equal partners and that such partnerships are realistic and sustainable. We also recognize there are issues that religious actors need to further address about their own role in such partnerships and what more can religious actors do to challenge those within religions who either oppose or are indifferent to human rights, or themselves coalesce with the violation of human rights. Recommendations are made for both secular and religious actors. These are presented here in the spirit of making a contribution to discussions of developing and enhancing partnerships between secular and religious actors in working for human rights.
