ABSTRACT

This paper evaluates the use of the Six Sigma Methodology to upgrade and improve the skills of Management teachers. The purpose of this paper is to develop research models that demonstrate the use of Six Sigma methodology for converting the teacher's skill upgradation process into a lean organization. Six Sigma methodology, that is, Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC) was used to compare and improve the desired teachers skill set. Other improvement tools such as Fishbone diagram, SIPOC Analysis and Pareto charts are also used. The outcome of this study is an effective application of DMAIC for teacher's skill upgradation.
