ABSTRACT
In this chapter, stories about and perspectives on physical education are provided through the lens of Chris Ahrens. Chris Ahrens, a physical education teacher at the time of this chapter, discussed personal experiences with cerebral palsy and physical education that led to a career in teaching. The author shared stories from elementary school, secondary school, and experiences in college as a preservice physical education teacher. Chris concluded the chapter with a reflection on these experiences. Readers will have opportunities to learn from the experiences of the author and will be able to reflect on these experiences as they relate to the readers’ future teaching careers.
