ABSTRACT
In this chapter, stories about and perspectives on PE are provided through the lens of Angela West. Readers are first presented with Angela West’s self-description as an individual with a physical disability (cerebral palsy). The author then described good and bad PE experiences in lower elementary school, upper elementary school, middle school, and high school. Angela concluded the chapter with a final reflection on these collective educational experiences and provided a series of author-created questions for readers to consider.
Readers will have opportunities to learn from the experiences of the author and will be able to reflect on these experiences as they relate to the readers’ future teaching careers.
