ABSTRACT
In this chapter, stories about and perspectives on PE are provided through the lens of Thomas Greany. Thomas Greany, a freshman at University of Wisconsin La Crosse at the time this chapter was written, described what it was like to have autism and participate in PE as a child. Covering experiences in preschool, elementary school, middle school, and high school, Thomas discussed navigating the good and bad of PE. Readers will have opportunities to learn from the experiences of the author and will be able to reflect on these experiences as they relate to the readers’ future teaching careers.
