ABSTRACT

In this chapter, stories about and perspectives on physical education are provided through the lens of Paul Tandy. Paul Tandy chose to discuss physical education experiences that occurred during elementary school, middle school, and high school. The author also described, in detail, participation in interscholastic wrestling while in high school. Paul ends the chapter with a reflection on these experiences, particularly the intersection of physical education, wrestling, and being blind. Readers will have opportunities to learn from the experiences of the author and will be able to reflect on these experiences as they relate to the readers’ future teaching careers.
