ABSTRACT
In this chapter, stories about and perspectives on physical education are provided through the lens of Mikayla Shea Heston. Mikayla Shea Heston described physical education participation in a variety of different settings including self-contained physical education and integrated settings. The author also discussed involvement in Special Olympics and provided several photos to illustrate those stories. Mikayla concluded the chapter by reflecting on these past experiences. Readers will have opportunities to learn from the experiences of the author and will be able to reflect on these experiences as they relate to the readers’ future teaching careers.
