ABSTRACT

“Dissident artists as protagonists of visibility processes” proposes to identify and reflect a corpus of works by dissident artists that make visible processes of contemporary colonialism. A comparative aesthetic analysis is carried out with emphasis on their discursivities, in order to make it possible to identify common points and thus understand where and when the messages of exclusion and exploitation are reinforced. Finally, and specifically, the chapter presents the author's own work “Vesta” as an example to indicate how this type of work is built with its intensities and enunciative becoming.
