ABSTRACT
This chapter introduces how Cai Dongdong's works began, the formation of his working methods, the requirements for materials in his work, the degree of intervention in his works, and how he dealt with the historical experience he faced in China through his practice. Through the formation of these works, Cai Dongdong reshaped his relationship with photography.
