ABSTRACT
This chapter is a commentary on Chapter 14: Family Violence and Migration Law: Protecting Immigrant Women’s Legal Status. This commentary supports the proposed legislative and regulatory reforms because they recognise the reality of female migration and guard against double-exploitation of female migrants at the hands of both the State and their intimates, partners, families and communities.
