ABSTRACT
This chapter is a commentary on Chapter 17: Increasing Female Participation in Construction: Legislating for Gender Equity. This commentary broadly supports the Bill, but raises important questions, including possible unintended consequences, and timelines for implementation. This commentary also asks whether the Bill should be expanded to other sectors.
